Trerice Barn

Welcome to Trerice Holiday homes.

Just 2 miles from Wadebridge and 6 miles from the North Cornish Coast, Trerice Barn and Little Trerice can be found at the end of a private 1/3rd of a mile country track in a sheltered, wooded valley. An idyllic base for a North Cornwall holiday.

Set within 2 acres of wild and semi landscaped gardens, surrounded by fields and Forestry Commission woodland, it's not only the Atlantic gales that launch surf crashing onto the North Cornish beaches that the properties are sheltered from. An ideal destination for anyone wishing to visit the wealth of local attractions and then return to somewhere calmer. Often, on still summer nights all there is to break the silence are owls, and due to the clarity of air and lack of light pollution the show from the stars can be outstanding.

In being adjacent to the Forestry Commission, Trerice offers a perfect place to start quiet walks and cycle rides from. It also means that Red and Roe deer can often be seen in the paddock, around the pond and down by the ford. There are six hundred acres of natural deciduous woodland and coniferous forestry plantation in the area. It stretches all the way from Trerice to the river Camel and around in an arc to St Breock Downs.

Little Trerice

Trerice Barn (above) offers modern living in a truly rural setting. It was converted into a 3 bedroomed family house in 1979 by the then owners of Trerice Farm. It benefits from far reaching views across and down the valley over Trerice Plantation, (Forestry commission land) towards the Camel valley.

Little Trerice offers a fully self contained / catering apartment in a cottage-style setting amid the North Cornwall countryside. Set within 2 acres of wild and semi landscaped gardens, its surrounded by fields and Forestry Commission woodland, ideal for walking dogs and cycling holidays. Only 6 miles from the North Cornish coast it benefits from having night storage heating and patio doors onto its own patio area with views over the garden and paddock where deer can often be seen in the early evening.

A full range of local amenities can be found in Wadebridge, a small, traditional market town, just 2 miles away. Including : Restaurant's and bar's, Shop's and supermarkets, Cycle hire (Wadebridge is one of the main joining points for the Camel Trail) and a cinema.
